Obadiah’s Type 6 Wildfire Engine.
Like any good fire team, Obadiah’s has its own Type 6 wildfire engine. Our Type 6 hauls 375 gallons of water, 15 gallons of foam, and has been engineered for the lowest possible center of gravity. Our aluminum electric hose reel makes it pump and go, and it is equipped with an 16 HP Edwards high-pressure rotary pump that drafts like nobody’s business. The Cummins engine has also been souped-up to pull our 40 ft. Mobile Command Center. It’s equipped with code 3 emergency lights, 360° flood lights for 24 hour operation, and has a portable Honda 6 HP booster pump for extra long hose lays.
