Heavy Metal

Our self-contained operation is built around two FMC Type 1 Soft Track Skidgens, one Type 4 Dozer and one Tender Transport.

"Big Bubba" (FMC 220) for steep, environmentally sensitive terrain. Brush Blade, winch, monitor, CAFS, and 1600 gallons of water on 45% slopes, 30% side hill.

"Big Bertha" (FMC M548), a Vietnam-era Spec Ops amphibious aircraft aluminum platform capable high speeds on or off road. Known as an WUI, Wildland Urban Interface fire suppression vehicle.

"Puddy Tat" CAT D4C, Type 4 Fire Dozer with 6-way blade and winch.

Supported by "Big Daddy," a Mack CH613 Type 2 2500 gal tactical water tender that transports either skidgen to the incident and also serves in suppression, water shuttle, fuel support, dust abatement, or helibase crash-rescue roles.

Speeds up to 20mph over smooth ground.
