A wildfire has suddenly blown up in California’s Napa County east of Calistoga, causing mandatory evacuations for area residents.
The fire began today around 12:00 pm and has already grown to 800 acres, burning five structures in the process. As of this evening, it is ten percent contained with over three hundred firefighters on scene assisted by three helicopters, six bulldozers, and twenty five engines, all courtesy of Cal Fire.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
